as the year anniversary of moving to california gets closer i find myself spending more & more time reflecting on how much my life as changed since then. last winter i survived my snowiest season in cny, not the snowiest season for syracuse... missed it by about 20 inches, but 179 inches of snow was enough for me. more specifically, 104 inches in january alone was enough. last winter was most definitely a hard season, inside & out. yesterday as i watched the sunset over the pacific. sitting on the rocks, feeling the mist from the waves, listening to the rythmic crash of the water i found my heart so completely filled with happiness.
